Hi, I'm Cherelle, the heart behind Ginger Bear Co.  💕

I’ve always believed that clothing is more than just fabric — it’s a way to tell the world who we are, how we feel, and what we stand for. But I also know, from my own life and the journeys of those around me, that finding the courage to be yourself isn’t always easy.

For over 20 years, I’ve opened my heart and home as a foster mum. I’ve cared for children and young adults who carried the invisible weight of abuse, neglect, trauma, and extreme anxiety. I’ve seen how those early experiences can shape people — how they sometimes grow into adults who hide parts of themselves just to feel safe.

I understand this deeply, because I’ve lived it too.
Growing up, and even as an adult, I struggled with crippling anxiety, low confidence, and the constant feeling that I never truly belonged. I know what it feels like to mask who you are, to hold back parts of yourself out of fear, and to feel overwhelmed by the expectations of the world.

But here’s what I’ve learned:
We are all different.
Our minds work in beautifully unique ways. Whether it’s ADHD, autism, anxiety, or any of the other “isms” society labels us with, those differences are not flaws — they’re our strengths. They make us who we are.

That’s why I created Ginger Bear Co.
I wanted to build more than a clothing brand — I wanted to create a space where people could feel seen, understood, and celebrated. A space where your clothes become your voice.

And because life isn’t always easy, sometimes it helps to see the funny side too.
Not every moment is serious — and not every shirt should be either. Some of our designs are bold and empowering, but others are cheeky and playful, reminding us to laugh at life and even at ourselves. Because confidence isn’t just about standing tall — it’s also about knowing when to relax, let go, and enjoy the chaos.

Every design, every slogan, every graphic is created with one goal in mind:

To remind you to smile, laugh, and find joy in being unapologetically you.

This isn’t just streetwear.
This is self-expression.
This is confidence you can wear.
